Question by Olga D: What should I do, I bought a vehicle, paid in full, title was never sent to me.?
I did register it in PA, title never came. I called, fight for one year. Moved to NJ (after two month from purchasing). Now one year it is sitting on my driveway without title, registration. I run carfax and found that title was repossessed before I bought it from auction. DMV PA does not provide me with any answer. What to do??? I can’t even gave it to charity now, because I have no title. Probably title is repossessed, and it was never delited from the record. Please let me know what I should do – go to PA DMV, or NJ DMV, or to the court directly. I do not know already for two years.
Please help…..

Question by bugzy2284: where can I find a good auto auction?
I am going to be getting a sum of money next month which I plan on using to buy a vehicle. I have decided that I want a dodge durango ideally with 90 to 110 thousand miles. Does anyone know how I can go about finding a decent auto auction, are there any online auction sites? I have come across a couple of sites which make you pay for a membership are those legit? any info that anyone can give me on purchasing repossessed vehicles would be much appreciated.
PLEASE DO NOT REFER ME TO GOV-AUCTIONS.ORG….i KNOW THAT THEY PAY THEIR AFFILIATES A GOOD DEAL OF MONEY TO REFER PEOPLE TO THEIR SITE AND I ALSO KNOW THAT THE SITE ITSELF IS UTTERLY USELESS!!

Question by Trevor James: tell me about car auctions ?r=1221979128?
I’ve heard that you can buy cars that have been seized from criminal activities, repossessed by banks and lending institutions, and vehicles that are government surplus. What’s true, and how does it work?

Answer by Howard L Just Google government, police, or sheriffs department auctions for your state or county. You’ll get lots of hits. This link is the federal governments master site for online auctions.
Question by L70: car got repossessed!?
I have a question. My car got repossessed on the last month of my lease and now I’m forced to buy the vehicle but I don’t have 12,000 to buy the car in full. I was only late one month and they basically screw me over. I can’t get approved for a loan to buy the car and they will auction it at the end of this month and I will be liable for whatever remaining balance? This is unethical and so unfair! If I choose to pay, will this affect my wife’s nursing license? Will this prevent her from re-newing her license? I am so worried and do not want to file for bankruptcy. Is there some sort of loop hole here? Why am I being forced to pay for a car that I don’t have and have only ONE month left on my lease!?!? any advice would be helpful.
I meant to say if I choose NOT to pay – will this effect my wife’s nursing license? I can’t afford it and now we have to worry about buying another car.
Yes both our names are on the contract. I tried but they said since my contract is in default I don’t have the option of paying off the lease. Only option is to find 12k for the car plus repo fees or wait til they auction the car and be stuck with the remaining balance. They won’t work with us to sort this out.
Question by corben: Repossessed Car Taken Without Notice?
My Sister Has A Used Vehicle,(2004 Dodge Neon). which has been taken from her work place without her notification, she had recently gone to court with the dealership where she got the car from, claiming that she was 2 months behind on payments. she had asked them why they filed through court instead of contacting her about it. when she went to court she proved by her reciepts and check stubs that the payments were up to date and that the only payment that was needed would be next months payment.
the owners of the dealership went to her work place and repossessed the car the next day after their claim was denied. now they are in possession of the vehicle and are claiming that since they got the car back they dont want to go back to court,(they re-filed another claim, which they have just today dropped!), and are now telling my sister that she needs to come up with the remaining balance of the car which is $ 2,656. Or they will be selling it off by auction in another state!
To me, I think that it is not fair what they are doing to my sister and that the contract that was signed by both parties is still effective seeing that it’s not up until february of 2011, which gives her plenty of time to pay the vehicle off!
on the day of the “theft”, my sister reported the car stolen to the sheriff’s department and they said since it was taken to court they have to deal with it through the court and there was nothing they can do.since all of this has happened the dealership has called and said that she has 10 days to come up with the money or else!
How Can We Go About Getting My Sisters Car Back Before Anything Else Goes Wrong?
Any Tips Will Help, Please And Thank You Very Much!
